“MILNE – On March 13, 1933, at his residence 618 Dallas Road, Victoria, B.C. in his eighty-third year, George Lawson Milne, born in Garmouth, Morayshire, Scotland. He is survived by his widow, at the family residence, Victoria; a sister, Mrs. J.L. Meilke, Port Arthur, Ontario, and by two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Richard Hall and Mrs. A.S. Ashwell, both of Victoria.
The remains rest at Hayward’s B.C. Funeral Chapel and the funeral will be conducted on Thursday afternoon under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge. The cortege will leave the chapel at 1.45 and proceed to the First United Church, where Rev. Dr. W.G. Wilson will conduct the service at 2 o’clock. Interment will be made in the family plot at Ross Bay Cemetery.”
